Our in-house developed high-power UVB/UVA UV-curing solar simulator delivers high-power ultraviolet irradiation at both 310nm and 365nm simultaneously. Ultraviolet (UV) radiation is one of the main causes of materials aging in everyday life. As the core equipment for artificial weathering tests, a UVB/UVA simulator reproduces the long-wave and medium-wave UV components of sunlight precisely and repeatably in the laboratory, accelerating materials aging so that you can assess weatherability.

A: UV aging testing is used in a very wide range of fields, such as the automotive industry, the photovoltaic (solar) industry, electronics, coatings and paint, plastics and rubber, and polymer materials and chemicals.
Q2: What is the difference between UVA and UVB?
A: The two differ in wavelength and penetration. UVA is long-wave (320-400 nm) with strong penetration and reaches the dermis; UVB is medium-wave (290-320 nm) and mainly affects the epidermis.
Q3: Are the UVA and UVB intensities in sunlight the same?
A: No, the UVA and UVB intensities in sunlight are not the same. UVA reaching the ground is roughly 9-19 times the UVB intensity (about 15 times on average).
